Registrations for preschool central enrolments are accepted from the first business day in March, two years before your child is eligible to attend. All registrations received in the first week of March (online, email, by post, or in person) will be processed with the date of 1 March. Registrations received after this week will be processed with the date they are received. To maximise your chances of getting a position at your first preference preschool it is important to register within the first week of March.
Note: please do not submit forms before 1 March, as they will be returned to you for resubmission.
To register your child please submit a registration form (and any required documentation) to Council with a non-refundable $30 registration fee.* Cheques or money orders should be made payable to Nillumbik Shire Council.
The registration form, payment and documentation can be submitted to Council in the following ways:

- Mail to PO Box 476, Greensborough, Victoria 3088
- In person at Nillumbik Shire Council, Civic Drive, Greensborough
Once the registration form, payment and required documentation are received, your child's details will be placed in the central enrolment system. Registration forms are available to download from our website and also available from preschools, maternal and child health centres or by phoning us on 9433 3161.
* Please note that the registration fee is subject to annual increases.
