To be considered by the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development for a second year of funded preschool your child must:
- have already received a year of funded preschool
- be eligible to enter school next year
- have identified developmental needs in two or more areas
- be expected to benefit from a second year of preschool
A preschool teacher will prepare the application and may need to consult an early childhood specialist. You are not required to re-register a child and therefore not required to pay a secondary registration fee.
