Initial requests for care can be made to the Coordination Unit on 9433 3158 or 9433 3146 or email The Coordination Unit. If you choose this method, please ensure you provide the following information in your email:
- your name
- your telephone number
- your address
- the name and age of the child/ren you require care for
- the days and times care is required
- the area you require care in.
After initial contact, the Coordination Unit will try to match your request with a suitable carer. This is based on your family needs, the developmental needs of your child, the location and available vacancies. Once a suitable carer is found, you will be given the carer’s contact number to make an appointment to visit. This visit is to be conducted in the carer’s home and your child or children requiring care must be present.
If both the family and carer are satisfied with the initial meeting, a starting date for care can be arranged. You will be required to complete a Child Registration Form prior to care starting. You can download a copy of this form below.
