Who is in your family? - Resource Kit

This resource kit was produced by the Rainbow Families Council and is suitable for parents and early childhood educators working in maternal and child health, child care, preschool and the early years of primary school. The aim of this resource kit is to help children, families and early childhood educators to start conversations about the diversity of families, including same-sex parented families. The resource kits comprises of two posters and four information sheets, including one specifically for parents to assist them to choose a rainbow family friendly child care centre or preschool. The resource kit includes:

• Info sheet 1 'Introducing rainbow families - a guide for early childhood services'

• Info sheet 4 'Tips for choosing a rainbow-family friendly childcare centre or kindergarten'
