Deakin University are conducting a research project on the health and wellbeing of preschool aged children. Parents with children aged between two to four years are being invited to participate in this research which will look at the factors that may be associated with weight changes amongst preschool aged children.
Participants will be sent a set of questionnaires twice a year for three years, which take approximately an hour to complete, and will also be asked to take part in two video taped home visits (a year apart). These home visits will tape the parent-child interaction and typical daily routines like preparing a snack, free play, television viewing, etc. Parents will be given a copy of the video to keep.
