On 27 October, the Minister for Children and Early Childhood Development, Maxine Morand, presented the Early Years Awards. The Awards are an opportunity to recognise the contribution that partnership approaches make to improving health, learning, development and wellbeing of children from pregnancy through transition to school (0-8 years). Nominees must have demonstrated an outstanding contribution to early childhood services and a commitment to providing Victorian children with the best possible start in life.
Each award recognisesd leadership, outstanding achievement, exceptional dedication and innovation in improving outcomes for children and families. The Awards were presented in two categories: Better Access to Early Years Services and Partnerships with Families and Communities.
