Nominations are currently open to recognise outstanding achievements in the early childhood sector, as part of the 2012 Early Years Awards. These awards celebrate leadership, dedication and innovation in the provision of early years services which improve the development and wellbeing of Victorian children aged birth to eight years and their families.
The three categories for nominations are:
- Better access to child and family support, health services, schools and early education and care services.
- Improvements in parents' capacity, confidence and enjoyment of family life.
- Communities that are more family and child friendly.
Nominations close Friday 1 June and winners in each award category will receive $15,000 to support the professional development of the partnership involved in their awarded initiative.
