E4 Kids Study

The E4Kids study (Effective Early Educational Experiences) is a landmark national research study funded by the Victorian and Queensland State Governments and the Australian Research Council. The study hosted at The University of Melbourne, will include over 2000 children in Victoria and Queensland and aims to explore the effect of early childhood services on children's development.

This will be the first Australian study to link the non-compulsory education of three year olds to national test data collected when children turn eight. It will determine what elements of early childhood education and care programs make a significant impact on a child's learning and development over time. It will also study the outcomes for children who do not access early childhood services.

Participation in the study began in March. For more information contact Julie on 9035 8515 or email Julie.
