Wombat Bend, located in Finns Reserve (Duncan Street, Templestowe Lower) is a haven for creative play that will inspire and capture the imagination of people of all ages and all abilities. Children and people young at heart will love exploring the sensory play activities, accessible path networks, ampitheatre and native forest walk. The fully fenced playground has play equipment for children of different sizes and abilities and features a wooden maze, swings, slides, climbing cube, flying fox, seesaw, and bat-wing carousel with hanging seats. There are picnic and barbeque areas with some undercover, toilets and drinking fountains.
