The Royal Botanic Gardens in Melbourne extends
over 36 hectares and displays more than 50,000 plants. There are
year-round events, unique tours, and the Aboriginal Heritage and
Discovery walks to make this one of Melbourne’s most popular
tourist attractions. The gardens are open from 7.30am to sunset
every day of the year.
The Royal Botanic Gardens in Cranbourne is 363 hectares of native
bushland that offers nature-lovers the chance to explore untouched
heathlands, wetlands and woodlands. The natural gardens are also
home to bird and animal life, including several rare endangered
species. There is a picnic area, bicycle and walking tracks. The
gardens are open from 9am to 5pm, daily but closed on
Christmas Day.
