Collingwood Children’s Farm is located in St Heliers Street, Abbottsford and is a rural environment in the heart of Melbourne. Children can get a close up experience with real farm animals and even help milk the cows each day at 10am and 4pm. They also have a regular Family Day and Farmer’s Market for the family to enjoy. The Collingwood Children’s Farm is open every day from 9am to 5pm and entry costs $8 for adults, $4 for children and $16 for families.
Family Day
The Family Day is held on the first Sunday of each month. There are
free pony rides and hay rides between 10.30am to 2.30pm, a barbeque
and activities that match the monthly theme of the Farm. Please
note there are no pony rides in term three, while the horses go on
a winter break.
Farmer’s Market
The Farmer’s Market is held on the second Saturday of each month.
Sample and purchase farm fresh and organic seasonal fruit,
vegetables, seedlings, herbs, juices, breads, olive oil, smoked
meat and fish, cheeses, home made condiments, free range eggs,
flowers and much more!
