In July 2010 the Australian and Victorian Governments announced funding commitments totalling $2.1 million for the development of a Hurstbridge Family Centre. The funding will be used to develop a new family centre that integrates preschool; long day and occasional care; maternal and child health; family support programs, and other specialist services; providing young families with all the education and care needs for their young children and entire family - all in the one location.
