Pre School Sport is an educational sports program that develops motor skills of two to five year olds in a non competitive, fun and safe environment. The program helps to develop kicking, catching, throwing, hand-eye coordination, balance and special awareness. In turn it improves self confidence, self esteem, social development, sharing, concentration, independence, and sportsmanship. The educational component teaches colours, shapes, body parts, animals, basic comprehension, numeracy and listening skills.
Pre School Sport is available in the local area and operates from the Diamond Creek Community Centre on Mondays, the Eltham Leisure Centre on Tuesdays, Greensborough Secondary College on Saturdays and the Banyule Netball Stadium on Fridays.
