National Tree Planting Day

National Tree Day is Australia's biggest community tree planting event. Join the Nillumbik event as they aim to plant 1000 plants along a gully line between Henry Arthur Drive and the Diamond Creek, as part of an ongoing rehabilitation project in the area. All tools and equipment are provided, however you will need to take your own gloves and wear covered shoes, a long sleeved shirt, long pants, a hat and sunscreen. A free BBQ lunch will be supplied from 12noon to 1pm.

Starts: Sunday 1st August at 10:00 am

Ends: Sunday 1st August at 12:00 pm

Location: Meet at Challenger Street Wetland Reserve, Diamond Creek (Melway 11J7)
