Hurstbridge Farmers Market

This market operates as an authentic farmers' market, with the emphasis on local fresh food and produce that is grown, reared, caught or made by the person selling the produce. Local producers will be given preference over producers from out of the area and the range of produce on sale will vary from season to season. You can talk directly to the people engaged in growing or making the products and find out more about how it was produced, whether it's been sprayed with chemicals and so on. This market will also provide the best of what's fresh and in season. Produce will include: free range meats, seasonal fruit and vegetables, honey, olives and olive oil, baked goods, cheese, eggs, seedlings, wine, chocolates and more! Entry is $2 with proceeds going to local CFA brigades.
