Educational Children's Concerts
Heidelberg Symphony Orchestra will be performing two educational children's concerts (2pm and 3.30pm). Designed especially for children and families, these concerts provide an excellent opportunity to learn about different instruments, their orchestral families and the role of the conductor, in addition to experiencing a symphony orchestra perform live. You will hear songs from the Pirates of the Carribean, Looney Tune Cartoons and The Simpsons.
This year, Christopher Carolane (the narrator) will begin both concerts with an educational session, 'All About the Orchestra' and then Heidelberg Symphony will perform a range of well-known and popular music. Each concert will run for approximately 45 minutes. Tickets cost $5 each and can be purchased by calling the number below or going to the website listed below.
