Kids Safe Australia

Kidsafe is the leading not-for-profit charitable organisation dedicated to preventing unintentional childhood injuries and reducing the resulting deaths and disabilities associated with childhood accidents in children under the age of 15 years. Injuries are the leading cause of death in Australian children aged one to fourteen, accounting for nearly half of all deaths in this age group. Since the establishment of Kidsafe, the number of child deaths and hospitalisations has halved.

NURSE-ON-CALL is a phone service that provides immediate, expert health advice from a registered nurse, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. NURSE-ON-CALL puts you directly in touch with a registered nurse for caring, professional health advice when: you or someone you're caring for is feeling unwell; you are not sure if you should seek medical help; you're away from home or situated a long way from medical help; or you simply want advice or information about health services in your area. NURSE-ON-CALL also provides 24-hour support and counselling to anyone either directly or indirectly affected by the Victorian bushfires.

The Parents Jury

The Parents Jury is an online network of parents, grandparents and guardians who are interested in improving the food and physical activity environments of Australian children.
