Stepfamily Association of Victoria

The Stepfamily Association of Victoria is a non-profit organisation offering support, education, and resources to stepfamilies. They provide assistance to families where one or both partners come together with children from an earlier relationship and are considering forming or living in a married or informal stepfamily situation.

Stepfamily Helpline

The Helpline operates Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm and provides stepfamily information, referral and telephone counselling and support. The Helpline is staffed by a team of trained volunteers who have counselling skills and/or qualifications. They take calls from stepparents, biological parents, other stepfamily members, extended family, professionals that work with stepfamilies and anyone interested in stepfamily issues.
